See Chardonnay, throw it into wood, seems to be the motto of this wine. And it worked. Both the soft, ripe Chardonnay apple and pear flavors and the toasty, spicy wood are good in themselves, and as a team they are impressive. Finely crafted, the finishing acidity gives the wine all the send-off it needs.
