The vineyard is located in the Dundee Hills AVA (not shown on the label). There's a metallic edge to the flavors, starting with the nose and continuing on through the palate. Peppery black fruits are at the core, showing a rather hard edge at the moment. This might need a bit of extra aeration or cellar time to show its best.
