The Höhereck vineyard is close to Dürnstein castle, where the English king Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned in the 12th century. This Smaragd, richly endowed with yellow fruits, fennel and delicious acidity, is keen to escape from the glass, bringing a waft of hedgerow flowers and a final layer of spice.
