This blend is 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Cabernet Franc and 8% Merlot, sourced entirely from this iconic Red Mountain vineyard. There is a high-toned entry, that blows off in the glass, leading into a full-bodied wine with deep black cherry and cassis fruit. A streak of iron runs through the well-modulated tannins. As usual with this vineyard, a few more years of bottle age are recommended.
