Made from 50% Merlot with smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon, in that order, this reserve-level wine is thick in herb, cedar and pencil lead, classical in some ways, thick in chewy tannins otherwise. It finishes in a swirl of chocolate and caramel.
