California winemaker Patrick Campbell makes this perfumed, unusual Chardonnay, which is challenged but ultimately proves its worth. While it's nothing like Burgundy or other varietally correct Chards, it does show sweet melon, mango and other candied flavors. More for those wanting a simple, sweeter style.
