Fairly neutral on the nose for Carmenère, with mild floral berry notes. The palate is composed but reserved as it deals plum, vanilla and herbal undertones. Like many of its neighbors, this wine is creamy and lactic, with mild green/herbal notes interacting with richer plum and berry flavors. Good for a brand we haven't tried before.
