Vallegre, part of the Barros group, owns Quinta da Vista Allegre just downriver from Pinhão on the Douro. This 2007 starts softly, then reveals intensity of sweet tannins, blackberry fruits, crushed strawberries, followed by a firmer structure. The wine has balance allied to fine acidity.
