Aromas of roasted coffee bean, coconut and plum cake lead the nose on this dense wine. The extracted palate offers prune, oak, espresso, dried black fruit and licorice alongside astringent tannins that leave a bitter finish. There's not enough fruit richness to stand up to the oak.
