A little sharpness on the nose tilts things toward red fruit and rhubarb, yet the palate is more deep and dark, albeit slightly tough. Ripe berry, plum and a hint of burnt brown sugar work the palate, followed by a hot, slightly charred finish. A brawny specimen with natural vigor and ample oak.
