Winemaker Rich Cushman notes that this is a “field blend” of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from this vineyard's single bearing acre. It is a delightful wine, and the three grapes all contribute to the mixed scents of grass, citrus and melon; and the fresh fruit flavors that run to cool green and yellow fruits and berries. A nice finish suggests fresh-cut cantaloupe.
