Dusty cherry and chocolate aromas are uplifted by some flowery notes. Flavors of cassis, raspberry and mild buttery oak make for a correct, pleasant palate. Some additional butter and vanilla flavors are detectable on the finish. Given its price, this wine is fresh and tasty enough, with staying power.
