Bendigo is a rather warm, inland section of Victoria and the climate is reflected in this wine, which is full bodied, with supple tannins. Toasty, cedar oak partially obscures the mulberry, earth and black pepper notes, but the fruit wins out on the long, creamy finish. Drink now–2020.
