The second vintage of this wine produced, this blend of Mourvèdre (53%), Syrah (33%) and Grenache shows aromas of red and black fruit along with barrel spices. Still drinking young, it's filled with blackberry flavors that show good texture and richness. The wood seems a bit out front, giving a lightly grainy feel and dominating the notes on the finish.
