This wine is all Merlot coming from equal parts Weinbau and Woodward Canyon Estate vineyards. It charms with aromas of café au lait, cherry, spice and earth. The chocolate and cherry flavors are rich and full bodied with a firm handshake of tannins. It's drinking young now, with the oak up front. Give it plenty of time to open up.
