Maranges, south of the Côte de Beaune, is still finding its place and style. This wine, pleasingly firm Pinot Noir with solid tannins, may give a clue, with its slightly rustic, bitter edge and sweet black fig flavors. The acidity is sweet, coming through the bright red fruits. Imported by Robert Kacher Imports.
