\n On Tuesday\, October 9th\, the halls of the historic West chester Country Club will be transformed into a thrilling fall harvest fes tival as over two dozen Westchester\, Putnam Valley and Lower Connecticut farms\, chefs\, vendors\, purveyors and restaurants come together for the 2nd Annual Taste Our Local Harvest\, a tasting event and benefit which als o aims to strengthen relationships and collaborations between local farms and the culinary community.
\n\n At Taste Our Local Harvest\, the bo unty of the region will be on display via the pairing of local farmers and chefs who will prepare carefully chosen harvest\, livestock and poultry t astings. There will also be vendors of local spirits\, beers\, breads\, ch eeses\, and other farm products at the event. Net proceeds of the event wi ll have a direct impact on the good work of these like minded not-for-prof it organizations who share the mission to build the value of local agricul ture through education\, the distribution of fresh seasonal food to our di verse community\, and the promotion of wellness through community and scho olyard food garden projects.
