Save the date May 28 for Bow & Stern Oyster Bar's first Oyster Night with Executive Chef Brian Greene and the rest of the crew at West Town’s newest and freshest oyster bar.
Seats will fill quickly for Bow & Stern’s inaugural oyster pre fixe dinner, a reoccurring chef’s dinner that pays tribute to the almighty bivalve. The kickoff event is set for Wednesday, May 28 (subsequent Oyster Dinners are TBA). Oyster Night will begin with an Oyster Social - a meet-n-greet of sorts - and include fresh shucked oysters along with sparkling and non-sparkling wines and a featured speaker. Marco Pinchot or James Brady from Fortune Fish will be on hand to give tips about shucking and oyster varietals. A dinner will follow with four full courses paired with wine or craft cocktails. Menu items include: 1st course, Temple Farms spinach salad with orange sesame vinagrette, picked red onions, pickled fennel and goat cheese; 2nd course, pickled oysters, wasabi ginger cucumbers and caviar; 3rd course, wagyu beef, asparagus, smashed potatoes and béarnaise popcorn fried oysters; 4th course, Key lime pie.
