On Saturday, June 14th at the Metropolitan Pavilion, D’Artagnan will hold the 2014 Duckathlon. The first of its kind, the Duckathlon is a fun, interactive event that will take consumers on the real journey from “farm to table” via engaging “foodie challenges” that will test our knowledge about the foods we eat, providing direct access to the farmers who raise our food and the chefs who cook it. The Duckathlon will also feature dishes from acclaimed chefs including Anita Lo, Harold Moore and Shane McBride. The event will also offer challenge prizes, on-stage events include race-against-the-clock chef and celebrity battles (chefs Francois Payard and Jacques Torres will go head-to-head in a culinary showdown) and music. Tickets are $60 each, with a 10 percent discount for those purchasing four at a time. Ticket proceeds will be donated to Action Against Hunger’s FoodLove initiative.
