Tickets are now on sale for the SLO Wine Association’s 23rd Annual Rockin’ Harvest on the Coast November 1st – 3rd! The weekend festivities begin Friday, November 1st, with the return of SLO Wine Country’s Rockin’ Road Trip. Attendees will become SLO Wine groupies for the day and hop on a tour bus for a backstage look at Harvest 2013 with several winemaking teams. From vine to wine, attendees will learn to trim, blend, and taste the handcrafted wine that represents the essence of SLO Wine Country. The Grand Tasting and Wine Auction will take place on Saturday, November 2nd from noon – 3 at the beautiful Avila Beach Golf Resort! Over 60 wineries and restaurants from the San Luis Obispo region are featured in the scenic seaside setting of the Avila Beach Golf Resort. Winemakers, local chefs and wine lovers share an allotment of handcrafted artesian wines paired with delicious samplings, all showcasing the best of what SLO County has to offer. This year’s Wine & Lifestyle Auction features many unique experiences including Rock n’ Roll Memorabilia, Wine Packages, and Getaway Weekend Adventures! SLO Wine Country will put on a show, entertaining attendees with some over-the-top lifestyle auction lots. SLO Wine Country is also proud to support Hospice of San Luis Obispo County through their “Fund-A-Need” auction SLO Wine Country has teamed up with the Avila Beach Tourism Alliance to offer a $20 ticket discount for travelers booking their stay in Avila Beach. Both organizations share the same goal, to bring visitors from outside the county and promote the culture and community of the region. General admission tickets to Saturday's Grand Tasting are $85, or $65 when you book in Avila Beach. The party continues into Sunday, where guests are encouraged to visit participating wineries for “SLO Wine On Tour”. Tasting rooms throughout SLO Wine County will offer wine tasting, food and entertainment! All ticket holders will be granted free tastings throughout Sunday.
