Chef and Master Sommelier Christopher Bates combines his two loves in a dinner-party friendly restaurant with a communal table as its centerpiece. Wines at every price point are available by the taste, glass or bottle.
From chef and master sommelier: “Sherry. It’s all I think about and all I drink. Our sommelier, Michalis, must hate me for it. It must be frustrating when your wine list caps at 35 wines, and the owner insists on seven of them being Sherry. Other than that, I particularly love Muscadet, off-dry Riesling, Rhône reds and cooler, crisper reds like Beaujo and Chinon. Though, maybe more than anything, I love mature old-school reds, be it old California, Bordeaux or South Africa.” –Christopher Bates
