Basil 8

From Table 8 in Miami’s De Soleil South Beach Hotel (table8restaurants.com), this inventive cocktail offers a fresh, crisp character perfect for warm-weather sipping. —BEN NARASIN

Ingredients
  • 7 white grapes
  • 2 basil leaves
  • 11⁄2 ounces Zyr vodka
  • 3 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 3⁄4 ounce simple syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostora Bitters
  • 10 ounces ginger ale
Directions

Muddle four of the grapes with the basil leaves
in a pint glass. Add vodka, lime juice, simple
syrup and bitters. Add ice and shake for six seconds.

Strain over a fresh glass of ice and top of
with the ginger ale. Garnish with remaining
grapes and a basil leaf.
