The Negroni

Purportedly created by Count Negroni—who legend claims invented this drink by asking his bartender to strengthen his Americano by substituting gin for soda water—this easy to make springtime staple has gained newfound popularity in recent years.

Ingredients
  • 1 ounce Campari
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 1 ounce gin
  • Orange twist, for garnish
Directions

Pour Campari, vermouth and gin into a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir for 45–60 seconds. Strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with an orange twist.
