The Nicky Finn

Adapted from a recipe in Cocktail: The Drinks Bible for the 21st Century (Viking, 1998), by Paul Harrington and Laura Moorhead

  • 1 ounce Cognac
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 dash Pernod
  • 1 lemon twist, for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker two-thirds full of ice and add all of the ingredients. Shake for 15 seconds, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Add the garnish.
