Artisan is serious about serving food and wine from local producers. The list 
is entirely Central Coast, and Wine Director Shandi Kobayashi also oversees the Artisan farm. “The close-knit community we have in Paso Robles makes a difference in everything we do,” says Kobayashi.

Riot Dish: “The fondue. This has been on the menu since the day we opened almost 10 years ago—which is really saying something, because we change the menu constantly! It’s a cheese fondue with garlic toast, broccolini, and andouille. [We] really think people would boycott if it was removed.”
