This wine was aged for 32 months in 85% new French oak but you'd never know it based on the vibrant aromas of iron, earth, bacon fat, black olive, garigue, orange peel, dried flower and purple fruit. This leads to a mouthful of fruit and savory flavors that coat the palate from end to end, finishing savory with abundant black olive notes. The sense of balance is exquisite as is the delicacy.
