May 9 is Mother’s Day–and you know what that means. Flowers. But if you haven’t already sent your mom a beautiful bouquet, why not surprise her with a twist on the floral theme and serve her a flower-based drink instead? We’ve got two easy-to-make cocktail recipes that feature flowers, including a punch perfect for Mother’s Day brunch.
Hibiscus Ginger Martini
1 ½ ounce Xante pear liqueur
1 ½ ounce lemon juice
1 ounce hibiscus-infused simple syrup
1 small piece fresh ginger
Muddle the ginger. Add Xante and all ingredients. Shake and sift twice. Serve in cocktail glass.
Mother’s Day Punch

2 parts Milagro Reposado
1 part Aperol
1/2 part Solerno
2 parts pink grapefruit juice
1 part fresh lime
1 part Stevia simple syrup
1 part agave nectar
Fresh strawberries, raspberries and kiwi
Finish with a splash of soda water or sparkling wine
Mix all ingredients. Chill. Serve in a punch bowl with edible flowers (such as hibiscus, pansies, or violets).
