2 ounces Hendrick’s Gin
6 ounces tonic water
3 spiced ice cubes (see recipe below)
Pour the gin and tonic over the spiced ice in a tall glass. Stir and serve.
Spiced Ice Cubes
1 Habanero pepper, sliced
3 cups water
3 cups sugar
8 saffron threads, crumbled
Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir until the sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes. Allow to cool, remove the pepper and pour into an ice cube tray. Freeze until solid.
