The Burgundy-based wine company Boisset Family Estates has recently expanded its holdings by purchasing Lockwood Vineyard in California’s Monterey County. Leading Port producer The Fladgate Partnership, owner of Taylor Fladgate and Fonseca, purchased most of rival producer Real Companhia Velha in a deal worth nearly $30 million. The Fladgate Partnership now possesses the producer’s offices, bottling facilities and cellars.
