Action Bronson: Rap Meets Natural Wine

WineSearcher notes on a recent episode of his food show for VICE, filmed at an Italian restaurant in Sydney, chef-turned-rapper Action Bronson could not control his excitement when a bottle of Frank Cornelissen’s wines from Mount Etna made its way to his table. “You saw my face when they brought the Sususcaru out,” Action Bronson says. “I was like a little [expletive] kid, like my mom just bought the NBA Jam Tournament Edition. I been waiting for this Susucaru all my life. I love this one.”

Constellation Brands Buys Charles Smith Wines
The latest industry acquisition comes out of Washington State for a price tag of around $120 million, reports Yahoo Finance. Constellation’s purchase of Charles Smith includes Kung Fu Girl Riesling, Velvet Devil Merlot, Boom Boom! Syrah, Eve Chardonnay and Chateau Smith Cabernet Sauvignon. Smith will keep his brands K Vintners, Wines of Substance, ViNO, Casa Smith, SIXTO, B. Leighton and Charles & Charles.
