In 2018, Wine Enthusiast tasted, rated and reviewed 24,753 wines. Sound like a lot? Well, it’s a drop in the bucket compared to the more than 250,000 reviews currently in our online Buying Guide. That’s not even to mention the innumerable wines profiled in our print magazine throughout the 1980s and ’90s, many of which are just reaching peak drinkability today.

With so many wines to take in, each with their own unique aging window, it can be a herculean task deciding when best to open a bottle. That’s why we’ve created our Wine Enthusiast Vintage Chart, profiling 25  years of wine vintages from every region around the globe, in an easy-to-read format that will tell you at a glance whether to drink, dump or save that special bottle.
