While we’re certainly fans of indulging on a fancy bottle of bubbly here or there, we’re still a budget-conscious crowd when it comes to everyday drinking. CK Mondavi Chardonnay (California); $7, 88 points. This is a trim, well-balanced wine that fills a nicely crisp frame with appealing lemon, green apple and butter notes.
