Wine Enthusiast Magazine has been the market leader in accessible and trends-driven content in the wine industry for the last 30 years. Continuing its solid growth momentum and eye to the future, second-generation Strum Media and Wine Enthusiast Companies co-owner Jacqueline Strum will take the helm of Associate Publisher, VP of Wine Enthusiast Media and will report directly to Editor & Publisher Adam Strum. The media group will now also complement its multi-faceted platform approach by integrating the Millennial-focused beverage wedding registry ThirstyNest, founded by Strum, into its portfolio, with plans to expand its scope into targeted content.

“It is with great personal and professional pride that I announce this watershed moment for our media team,” says Adam Strum. “Wine Enthusiast has always been a family business and Jacqueline is the third in a line of wine industry veterans to take on a leadership role in this iconic field. As we forge ever further into the dynamic digital realm of media, Jacqueline’s strategic, creative and progressive outlook will ensure we remain the undisputed source for the modern wine, spirits and beer lover in the years to come.”

Raised in the wine and spirits industry, Jacqueline Strum has worked professionally in the space for over a decade, including roles running all communications and new business development for the media group as well as public relations and digital media roles for global brands at Hunter Public Relations, Mission Media and UrbanDaddy. Strum also completed an Advanced Degree with Distinction with the Wine, Spirits & Education Trust.

“I’m thrilled to be taking a more integral role in growing our already successful media group with an eye on the digital future,” Ms. Strum says. “To work with such an incredible group of talented individuals while carrying on the family tradition is an ideal personal and professional opportunity and I could not be more excited.”
