Netflix’s new film Uncorked has been receiving rave reviews in the wine industry and beyond. It presents the story of a young man pursuing his sommelier dreams while dealing with family dynamics and financial challenges.

“Growing up, we didn’t have money to go nowhere,” says Elijah, the movie’s protagonist, played by Mamoudou Athie. “So, when I get a wine from someplace like France, someplace like Spain, I just feel like I’m kind of there.”
