Meaning “table” in both Sardinian and Spanish, Cantina Mesa marries traditional hospitality with high design. From Sardinia’s warm climate comes this textured and robust Guinco Vermentino. Some of the vines are still planted on their original pre-phyloxera rootstock, producing grapes with intensity and concentration. Acidity weaves itself through this round white wine, giving it a jolt of freshness. Ripe orchard fruits and a layer of citrus create luscious aromas, and the slightly saline note nods to the surrounding Mediterranean Sea. It’s ideal with richer dishes such as seafood risotto or soft and creamy cheeses.
