00 Wines 2017 Chehalem Mountain Chardonnay (Chehalem Mountains)

One of eight Chardonnays from Double Zero, this is sourced from a vineyard just east of Ribbon Ridge that was originally planted by Dick Erath a half century ago. It's leesy and zesty, with chunky fruit flavors of apple, tangerine and peach. There's a streak of caramel and a burst of candied lemon as it sails into a long, smooth and concentrated finish. Paul Gregutt
