92points00 Wines 2017 Hyland Pinot Noir (McMinnville)

This savory Double Zero wine was sourced from the oldest Hyland block, planted in 1972. Whole berries were fermented in a terracotta clay amphora and then aged 16 months in 20% new French oak barrels. Aromatic with sharp notes of cranberry, strawberry and raspberry, the fruit is underscored with a dry minerality and a touch of lemon. Paul Gregutt
