00 Wines 2018 Shea Pinot Noir (Yamhill-Carlton)

The fruit from this iconic vineyard was fermented in amphora, yielding a wine with astringent minerality. The blackberry and black cherry flavors are a Shea Vineyard hallmark, here on display in both the aromas and core fruit. Aged in one-third new French oak, this wine is quite young and will benefit from aeration and/or further bottle age. Paul Gregutt
