18401 Cellars 2016 Proprietary Red (Walla Walla Valley (WA))

Fruit for this wine comes from top sites Figgins (58% Merlot), Seven Hills (30% Cabernet Sauvignon), Loess (12% Petit Verdot). The aromas offer notes of dried leaf, coffee, raspberry and cherry cordial. There's a pleasing purity to the cranberry and cherry flavors. Tart acidity ties it all together. The fruit seems a bit desiccated. Sean P. Sullivan
