A variation on the Scandinavian holiday punch made with grain neutral spirit instead of wine, this cheery yellow liqueur is light on the palate, and packed with honey, clove, cardamom and cinnamon. Traditionalists will miss the warmth and weight that wine provides, but bartenders don't seem to care; they are using the liqueur to spice up wintry whiskey and rum cocktails. Kara Newman
