The bouquet is warm and inviting, with a lively earthy-hop presence alongside accents of pine, citrus peel and chicory root. Effervescent and forward, the palate starts off sweet and rich in notes of chocolate malt, crusty breat and roasted grain, while hop bitterness and grapefruit peel take hold of the finish. The medium-weight body is approachable, and coupled with the medium carbonation, it's surprisingly easy to drink for a beer at almost 7% abv.
