This beer pours a hazy orange-brown color and opens with scents of sweet pineapple, caramel, brown sugar and candied orange peel. The mouthfeel is decadent and round, with low carbonation and dense, chewy flavors of sugar plum, caramel sauce and brioche French toast that flood the palate. Moderate astringency lifts the richness on the finish, ending on a resinous pine note.
