A to Z 2019 Chardonnay (Oregon)

Solid winemaking elevates this affordable wine, sourced from vineyards north, south and in-between. The fruit mix is pleasant but generic, mostly apple flavors. There are interesting hints of buttered herbs and chicken stock, light enough to be considered unusual accents. The wine was not put through malolactic fermentation. Paul Gregutt
