Abacela 2015 East Hill Block Reserve Malbec (Umpqua Valley)

This very clearly reflects the estate's style and fondness for black-fruited, almost impenetrably dark, smoky, meaty, full-throttle red wines. It's more Abacela and less varietal in terms of flavors, which isn't at all bad. The dark berry fruits are lofted with smoke and baking spices, and this reserve block selection is ready to enjoy.
