Abbazia Santa Anastasia 2002 Nero d'Avola (Sicilia)

Good raisin and cherry aromas give way to chocolate and earth scents. Fairly snappy and lean in terms of fruit, but incredibly fresh and lively. Some bitter chocolate and coffee on the finish add character. Fine as an everyday offering. Michael Schachner
