Abbey Road Farm 2018 Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

This aromatically inviting wine is sourced from the RainSong and Carlton Hills Vineyards. Scents of plum, fig and cassis seem to promise a rather hefty wine, but it lightens up in the mouth with a complex of fruit and spice flavors that call to mind Fig Newton cookies. In fact, it's at a good point for near-term drinking right now, and should be enjoyed over the next three or four years. Paul Gregutt
