Right after opening this sends up lush and overwhelming scents of pretty new toasty barrels. Let it breathe and the fruit fills in; a mix of blackberry and cassis with plenty of coffee, cocoa, mocha and olive. A big wine that needs a couple more years in the bottle to pull itself together.
