A true old-vine bottling, this comes off the original block of a vineyard planted in 1968 by Oregon pioneer Dick Erath. It's a complex, spicy and balanced amalgam of berry, cherry and plum fruit. As is often the case, it rewards aeration and attention. The acid/tannin balance is just about perfect.
