Aconcagua 2005 Reserve Syrah (Mendoza)

Begins with bold mint and prune aromas, and it's also sort of foxy and sweaty. The palate is better, with saucy, tart fruit that leans toward tomato, herbs and dry berry fruit. Solid and round enough; decent with a few faults. Michael Schachner
