Acquiesce 2015 Viognier (Lodi)

A relatively light-tasting wine from a sometimes heavy grape variety, this shows a mix of savory and fruit flavors, including cucumber, celery and white pepper. It tastes dry and almost austere, which is appealing in the right pairing, such as with goat cheese on toast. Jim Gordon
